Since 1997, Community First has been a thriving part of Missouri. Our journey began in West Plains on a brisk fall day, and we have since grown to serve Mountain Grove in 2006 and Thayer in 2016. Community First was started by a group of over 45 locals who believed in a simple idea—that a bank could be more than just a place to store money—it could be a cornerstone for community growth and a partner in every customer’s story.

Our roots run deep. Beginning as Community First National Bank of West Plains, we’ve woven ourselves into the fabric of the communities we serve. In 2009, we shifted to a state bank, not to change who we are, but to reinforce our commitment to local decision-making and personalized service.
